Breaking Habits is Groundbreaking

The Glowing Green Smoothie by
Kimberly Snyder:

Vic & I have just began drinking the Glowing Green Smoothie in the morning, making variations of Kimberly Snyder‘s version. I have to admit, mixing kale, lettuce and fruits sounded gross… until I tried. Fruits actually dominate the taste and the greens add a full-body type of flavor, just the way a well-balanced wine tastes. And you can experiment with fruit and green combinations to make the smoothie different each day. What a healthy alternative to all the gluten/sugar-filled breads/cereals/pastries, which perhaps taste good, but do not have to be enjoyed on a daily basis!

When I was a kid, breaking habits usually meant being naughty, trying to do things I was not supposed to. These days, breaking habits simply means getting out of the shell, trying out new things, making more conscious choices, which often turn out to be liberating or groundbreaking. It is when we let go of the old habits that we make room for the new ones to take root.
